We’re rather excited to announce that we're sponsoring MotoWaifu’s London to Nordkapp videos from now until December.

If you haven’t discovered MotoWaifu, then please meet Laura Mills: motorcycle traveller, content creator and firm believer that you don’t need the biggest bike, the best weather or a perfectly sensible plan to have a proper adventure.

That sounds rather familiar.

London to Nordkapp on a Suzuki DR-Z4S

Earlier this year, Laura undertook a solo trip from London heading to the Nordkapp (the northernmost point of Europe), on a Suzuki DR-Z4S.

Rather than taking the most direct route north, Laura headed east through Europe before riding up through Finland. The complete journey covered more than 10,000km—or roughly 6,200 miles—with Laura spending around a month on the road.

It was a journey involving dirt roads, storms, questionable navigation, swollen insect bites, a temporarily lost phone and a very long ride home from Norway.

In other words, a proper motorcycle adventure.

The trip has now become the London to Nordkapp YouTube series, documenting the roads, people, problems and unexpected moments Laura experienced along the way.

More Than Just a Motorcycle Trip

What makes Laura’s journey especially meaningful is what came before it.

After having her Yamaha MT-07 stolen, rising insurance costs left her unable to replace it. This was a motorcycle she had owned for seven years and ridden for nearly 100,000 miles through 28 countries. Laura then spent around a year away from riding and genuinely wondered whether that part of her life was over.

The opportunity to take the Suzuki DR-Z4S to Nordkapp gave her a route back into the life she loved.

Reaching Nordkapp was a huge achievement, but the story is about more than arriving at a pin on a map. It’s about rebuilding confidence, adapting when plans fall apart and proving that adventures don’t necessarily end—they sometimes take a different route.

Why Veloce Club Is Getting Involved

At Veloce Club, we’ve always believed motorcycling should be about participation rather than perfection.

You don’t need a huge adventure bike, a support vehicle or matching aluminium boxes to go exploring. You need a motorcycle, a little preparation and the willingness to find out what is around the next corner.

Laura’s honest and entertaining approach to motorcycle travel fits perfectly with that outlook. She shows the brilliant bits, the difficult bits and the moments when everything becomes slightly ridiculous.

She is also a fantastic voice for women in motorcycling and an important reminder that solo motorcycle travel isn’t reserved for a particular type of rider.

We’re proud to support independent motorcycle storytelling and help Laura bring the full journey to YouTube.

Follow the Journey

New episodes of London to Nordkapp will continue throughout the rest of the year—and you’ll spot Veloce Club coming along for the ride as a series sponsor.

Make yourself a coffee, settle in and start watching Laura’s journey from London to the top of Europe.
