The Merlin Axe Riding Shirt combines the casual look of a classic flannel shirt with the protection needed for motorcycle riding. Designed to look at home both on and off the bike, its relaxed styling makes it an easy-to-wear alternative to a traditional motorcycle jacket.
Constructed with a durable cotton flannel outer, the Axe features a 100% DuPont™ Full Kevlar® protective lining throughout for enhanced abrasion resistance. A fixed mesh lining improves comfort and air circulation, making the shirt comfortable to wear whether you’re riding, commuting or stopping off at your destination.
CE-approved Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour comes pre-fitted and can be removed when required, while a dedicated back protector pocket allows compatible CE back armour to be added for increased protection.
A strong YKK® centre zip sits beneath the snap-stud front closure, combining secure fastening with the traditional appearance of a flannel shirt. Snap studs are also used at the cuffs and chest pocket for a clean, practical finish.
For a more secure fit on the bike, the Axe features a YKK® jacket-to-jean connecting zip and Euro hoop jacket-to-jean connection, helping keep the riding shirt in position while you’re on the road.
