Our events are at the heart of what we do. Whether you’re searching for a local motorcycle event, a weekend ride-out, a relaxed café meet-up, or simply the perfect coffee stop on your route, Veloce Club is where riders connect.

A Local Motorcycle Café with a Big Community

We’re not just a café. We’re a meeting point for riders who want great coffee, good conversation and properly organised motorcycle events in Hitchin. Every weekend, our café fills with everything from 125cc learners and café racers to adventure bikes and long-distance tourers.

Our space has become a recognised motorcycle destination in Hertfordshire — somewhere you can roll in, park up with like-minded riders, grab a coffee and feel instantly part of the community.

Ride-Outs from Hitchin and Beyond

Our organised ride-outs are a huge part of the Veloce Club calendar. We host regular local motorcycle ride-outs starting right here in Hitchin, exploring some of the best roads across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.

One of our most popular events is our Newbie & 125 Rideout — designed specifically for newer riders looking to build confidence in a supportive group environment. These events start with coffee at the café, a rider briefing in our car park, and then a scenic route through some of the best local riding roads. It’s community-led, welcoming and designed to make everyone feel included.

For more experienced riders, we organise longer route days and curated motorcycle experiences that turn an ordinary Sunday into something memorable.

Café Meets & Coffee Stops

We believe every great ride needs a great coffee stop — and that’s exactly what we offer. Veloce Club has become a go-to motorcycle café in Hitchin for riders planning routes across Hertfordshire. Many riders make us their official meet-up point before heading out, or their destination stop before heading home.

Our events aren’t just about riding; they’re about bringing people together. Weekend café meets, themed gatherings and informal bike nights mean there’s always something happening. Even if you’re not on a scheduled ride-out, you’ll find the atmosphere buzzing with riders sharing stories, routes and recommendations.

Motorcycle Tours & Destination Events

Beyond local events, we also host curated motorcycle tours and destination rides. These multi-day experiences are built around great roads, great food and the camaraderie that defines Veloce Club. They’ve become standout dates in our events calendar and attract riders from well beyond Hertfordshire.

When riders search for a motorcycle destination in the South East, we want Veloce Club to be the place that comes to mind — not just for gear and coffee, but for unforgettable riding experiences.

FAQs

Are your events free?

Some events are free for you to join, others my involve a charge. It all depends on the event, time, duration and numerous other factors. General rule of thumb is that local ride outs, bike nights etc are all free, but some of our long weekends - like the Wheels & Waffles Tour - is chargeable.

Do I have to register

We prefer people to register as it helps us with logistics. Some events we don't mind if you just turn up - we'll do our best to accommodate. But people who register will always get preference over those who just turn up. Some events it is prerequisite to register i.e. Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.

What is 125 & Newbie?

Our 15 & Newbie ride outs are aimed that those who either only ride a 125cc motorbike - whether that is through licence restrictions or choice. Newbies are those who have passed their test allowing them to ride a larger capacity bike within the last 12 months of the event.

We include newbies in these ride outs so that we can help them learn about group riding.

What does 'Unsupported' mean

Unsupported means that there is no official support if anything happens during an event such as ride out. You are responsible for your vehicle, ensuring it is safe and legal to be on the ride.
