Do I need to attend the ride brief?

Yes. If you don't attend the ride brief (normally 15 mins before any event) then you will not be permitted to attend. The ride brief is important as it sets out the route and all of the requirements needed to take part.

What does 'Unsupported' mean

Unsupported means that there is no official support if anything happens during an event such as ride out. You are responsible for your vehicle, ensuring it is safe and legal to be on the ride.

What is 125 & Newbie?

Our 15 & Newbie ride outs are aimed that those who either only ride a 125cc motorbike - whether that is through licence restrictions or choice. Newbies are those who have passed their test allowing them to ride a larger capacity bike within the last 12 months of the event.

We include newbies in these ride outs so that we can help them learn about group riding.

Do I have to register

We prefer people to register as it helps us with logistics. Some events we don't mind if you just turn up - we'll do our best to accommodate. But people who register will always get preference over those who just turn up. Some events it is prerequisite to register i.e. Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.

Description

We partner with Alchemy Parts for all things luggage — whether it’s soft luggage or hard panniers.

As part of the Wheels & Waffles: A Ghent Tour, we’ve organised an afternoon at Alchemy Parts where the team will be on hand to share their expertise on setting up your bike to carry luggage. They’ll cover the pros and cons of soft luggage vs hard panniers, as well as the do’s and don’ts when it comes to packing your bike for a trip.

Veloce Club will be open from 9:00am for coffee and bacon rolls before we set off.

We’ll then head out for a 45-minute ride from Veloce Club to Alchemy Parts (details below), spend about an hour there for the talk and Q&A, before riding back.
