The Pike Brothers 1967 CPO Shirt takes inspiration from the classic shirts originally worn by US Navy Chief Petty Officers. Designed as a robust layer that could be worn as both a shirt and a light jacket, the CPO shirt was traditionally made from heavy wool and characterised by its durable construction, two chest pockets and classic collar.

Over the years, the CPO shirt has moved beyond its military origins to become a staple of civilian workwear and outdoor clothing. Pike Brothers' 1967 CPO Shirt builds on this heritage with an authentic 1940s cut and two additional slit pockets, adding further functionality to the traditional design.

For this version, Pike Brothers uses an exceptionally heavy 21oz selvedge denim made from 100% cotton. The fabric is produced exclusively for Pike Brothers in Japan by Collect, where it is woven on traditional old-style shuttle looms according to an old recipe. The resulting denim has a substantial weight, distinctive character and durable construction that will develop beautifully with wear.

The shirt combines its authentic silhouette with practical details, including the characteristic CPO collar, robust construction and additional pockets.
