Tour Terms & Conditions

The following outlines the Terms and Conditions for any Veloce Club tour. 

You are aware and understand that:

Any tour by Veloce Club is NOT a guided or supported tour — you (the rider / attendee) are fully responsible for your own travel, riding, safety, insurances, legalities and logistics.

What You’re Getting

  • Curated GPX route files (outbound + return)
  • A detailed itinerary with recommended stops
  • Suggested timings and locations where I’ll be throughout the trip
  • The opportunity to cross paths, ride sections together, or meet up

Think of it as:
👉 “Ride your own ride — but know where the good stuff is.”

What This Is

This is a completely unsupported, self-guided tour.

  • You are not booking a guided trip or travel package.
  • You are purchasing access to the route, plan, and shared experience.

What’s NOT Included

You are fully responsible for organising:

  • Accommodation
  • Le Shuttle / ferry crossings
  • Fuel, tolls, parking
  • Food & drink
  • Motorcycle hire (if needed)
  • Travel & motorcycle insurance
  • Breakdown cover
  • Mechanical support
  • Luggage transport

How It Works

  • You’ll receive the GPX files and itinerary ahead of the trip
  • Book your own travel and accommodation to match (or adapt as you wish)
  • Ride at your own pace — solo or with others if you choose
  • Join at suggested meet-up points, or do your own thing entirely

There is no requirement to ride together at any point.

Meet-Ups & Riding Together

We share - where we can - any plans to be at certain times (coffee stops, arrival, etc.).

You’re welcome to:

  • Join for sections
  • Meet at stops
  • Ride independently

These are informal meet-ups only — not guided group riding.

Rider Responsibility

By joining, you agree that you are fully responsible for:

  • Your own riding and safety
  • Your motorcycle (condition, legality, and suitability)
  • Holding a valid licence
  • Having appropriate insurance (including EU cover if required)
  • Navigating the route safely and legally

You ride entirely at your own risk and discretion.

Routes & Navigation

  • GPX routes are guides, not instructions
  • Road conditions, closures, and weather may change
  • You are responsible for adapting as needed and following local laws

Do not rely solely on the route without using your own judgment.

Breakdowns, Issues & Emergencies

This is an unsupported ride.

You are responsible for:

  • Breakdowns
  • Recovery
  • Medical situations
  • Travel disruptions

We strongly recommend:

  • European breakdown cover
  • Travel insurance

Is This For You?

This tour is ideal if you:

  • Are a confident, self-sufficient rider
  • Enjoy planning your own travel logistics
  • Prefer flexibility over structure
  • Like the idea of a shared route without group pressure

This is not for you if you’re expecting:

  • A guided tour
  • Mechanical or logistical support
  • A managed group riding experience

Cancellation & Refunds

Due to the nature of this being a digital product (GPX + itinerary), bookings are non-refundable.

  • If you (the rider) can’t attend the event after the GPX files, itinerary, hotel location, stop off locations have been released then no refund can be issued.
  • A refund at any other time before the release of the itinerary files is at the discretion of Veloce Club
  • If in the unlikely event that the event is cancelled by Veloce Club, then an alternative date will be offered. It is down to you the rider to recover any losses from your insurance companies. 

Group conduct

At all times you are responsible for your own safety. In addition:

  • You (the rider) must respect obey national and local laws and respect local communities
  • You (the rider) must not in any circumstances engage in any dangerous or illegal riding
  • Veloce Club reserves the right to ask any rider not conducting themselves in a safe and legal manner (at any time) to leave. 

Data / communication

On - or around - the release of digital files (GPX, itinerary etc) a WhatsApp group may be set up.

  • A link will be provided for you to join the group
  • Participation in any group chat is optional and you are able to leave at anytime.
  • Veloce Club is not monitoring riders conversations in real-time
  • You - the rider - must conduct yourself in a professional, kind and courteous manner
  • Any indications of bullying, bad language or anything deemed disrespectful or hurtful will result in you being removed from the WhatsApp group and possibly asked to leave the event
  • By sharing a photo on the WhatsApp group you agree to Veloce Club using it for Social Media and/ or advertising purposes. Please note that all photos shared in the group must not cause offence, be illegal or in bad taste. 
  • The WhatsApp group will be deleted approx 6 months after the conclusion of any tour. 

Attendance

By attending this tour you agree to Veloce Club terms and conditions for this event.

In addition you also confirm that:

  • You are a confident rider
  • You (as the rider) are comfortable navigating independently
  • You (as the rider) are happy planning your own logistics?
  • You have the correct and legal documentation for vehicle you are operating
